TSV managed to make A-math less daunting for me. With the help of the teachers there, I was able to understand the concepts easily and pass my A-math in O-levels. The teachers are very patient with a slow person like me, so all the support was very reassuring. The TSV portal was very helpful, as there were many additional worksheets to do for extra practice. I was able to rewatch some of the online lessons to further strengthen my understanding of the concepts during the COVID period. Lastly, I really love how aesthetically pleasing the worksheets are. I had fun looking through them during revisions and seeing the cute characters that made studying math much better. The dedication and effort put into making teaching fun will definitely not disappoint you!!

I joined TSV for the first time for the holiday programme when I was in sec 2, and I ended up getting both A1s for A math and  E math for the first exam of secondary 3! Now that I've graduated from secondary school, I am proud to say that I have achieved my desired grades with the help of ms Sonia! Ms Sonia's teaching style is extremely suitable for all kinds of students, and her patience when teaching is truly exceptional. I remember being at the edge of giving up on mathematics, but she helped me gain confidence in the subject and guided me towards good grades in no time :) Ms Sonia never stresses her students out and instead reassures them with comforting and encouraging words, allowing students to learn effectively at their own pace. I am very thankful towards Ms Sonia and TSV and I would definitely recommend her classes to everyone!

Before going to TSV, I was getting an F9 for A math and was on the edge of giving up this subject. I tried finding many A math tuition centres and many told me it's too late to start. However, TSV still accepted me in June - just 4 months before O levels. Ms Sonia and Ms iris really motivated me and pushed me beyond my limits. I was given many school papers to practice. I remember I did really poorly for my prelim A math paper 1, and I went to seek help after to prepare for my paper 2. The resources provided were on point, and it really helped my paper 2! I eventually passed my A-math in prelims! Fast forward to O levels, I managed to score A1 for both A and E math. From F9 to A1 in less than 4 months is really unbelievable, and I'm really thankful to TSV for helping me so much!

Before I attended tuition here, I had no interest in mathematics and got a B in my end-of-year exams. The teacher is patient, as when she explains the various questions and concepts to students, she often repeats her explanations until all students understand them. After attending these engaging lessons for almost 2 years, my mathematics improved drastically, with me mostly scoring A1s in the following maths exams. It certainly played a big role in helping me achieve these scores. Additionally, the classroom environment is pleasant, as violence is rare in the classroom. The holiday lessons help to provide a head start for the new school year or semester, and I am able to complete assignments and do tests more easily as I am already familiar with the content.

Before I found TSV, I was failing Math terribly in school with an F9 grade throughout secondary two. TSV is unlike the other Math tuitions which I had joined previously. Ms. Sonia has quickly proven to me that I could put my trust in her with my Mathematics with her incredibly fast mental calculations and how she is able to spot my mistakes in my Mathematics solutions quickly too. Ms. Sonia has never given up on me despite my slow progress, instead, she always encouraged me by word of mouth, letters, and treats. She is approachable and forges close relationships with her students. She would go on the extra mile to get to know her students. With Ms. Sonia's patient guidance and coaching, I achieved a B4 from an F9 in my Emath just within 3 months! I passed my Amath O levels from a never passing streak in school too! I would highly recommend TSV to all my peers and juniors!

I joined TSV at the end of 2019 after doing badly for E-math in secondary 2. During the holiday programme, Ms. Tan was extremely encouraging and patient with me building up my confidence. I was always afraid of math but with her guidance, I built a good foundation and improved. Throughout secondary 3, my grades got better, from Cs to As in both A-math and E-math. Ms. Tan puts in the extra effort to get to know every single student and forms a close relationship with them. Always looking forward to her engaging and well-crafted lessons. For my mid-year exam in May, I got an E8 for e-math. I remembered a friend who had improved a lot in math and asked for tutor recommendations. They were very confident that their tutor would be able to help, and I couldn’t agree more! I joined TSV in June, and I understood the content better after attending the first class. I was weak in maths when I joined, but the teachers explained the content thoroughly and patiently. When I forgot a thing or two, I never hesitated to clarify a query with them again. They are very friendly and approachable, genuinely want to help, and want the students to do well. With consistent effort and teacher guidance, I jumped from E8 in my mid-year exams to an A2 in ‘O’ Levels! The teachers at TSV played a big part in giving me the confidence, motivation and assurance that I could do well, and they were right! I’ll forever be grateful and lucky that I met such excellent teachers at TSV.

The Sequoia Vision has allowed me to grow (like a sequoia tree) and learn better thanks to the teachers, learning materials and flexible timings. The center is conducive and favourable for classes as well as revision (many thanks to the beanbags and soft toys). The learning materials and notes are also simple to understand and incredibly useful. There is also a fantastic cheat sheet provided that compiles all the formulas. It also gives an overview of each chapter which is useful for the introduction to a new chapter or quick and easy revision. The questions are also challenging yet helpful when learning as it gives a good insight into how the questions are likely to appear in exams. Most importantly, the teachers have been patient, understanding and enthusiastic during my time there.

TSV is the best and most effective tuition centre I've been to, they helped me quickly develop an interest in math and provide a comfortable conducive environment for students to learn. Teachers at TSV are very warm and friendly yet professional and helped boost my math scores by leaps and bounds with effective and enjoyable teaching methods. I would definitely recommend those struggling with o-level mathematics to attend.

TSV has provided a nurturing and supportive environment to elevate my skills in the area of mathematics. It has multitude of resources, which cover a wide range of questions, that could be used at my disposal and could specifically aid me in my weaker topics. Not only are the teachers patient in imparting their knowledge to the students, but they also care for the students’ well-being by giving us breaks in between our lessons to avoid burn-out. Furthermore, it has a 24/7 WhatsApp helpline to message if I face any challenging questions when doing practices at home/in school. They are efficient and quick to answer and they will emphasise the right angle to tackle the question that I ask. I have become more confident when doing math and have improved leaps and bounds in TSV—— definitely recommend this tuition

TSV provides a conducive environment for students to learn in, apart from the smaller class size that allows students to focus more, they also provide many resources like cheat sheets and topical worksheets with difficult questions to practice. Ms Sonia is very supportive of all her students hence after joining TSV, I have become more confident in math and also improved a lot!

I always failed math and did not have any hope. I joined near the end of Secondary 3, desperate as o-levels were close, and all the previous tuitions I had tried did not improve my grades nor allow me to understand the topics. Ms. Sonia has taught me very well, and her explanations were elaborate and easy to understand. It completely changed my opinion on math as I came in with F9s and finished o-levels with a B3 — an improvement of 6 grades.

Before TSV,  I was struggling with math throughout secondary one, as the transition from primary to secondary school was a huge challenge for me. I started off as someone having a weak foundation in mathematics and have been consistently failing in school. However, after joining TSV, I could see my grades improve bit by bit under Ms Sonia’s guidance. Not only that, Ms Sonia is also a patient and understanding teacher who is willing to help me out when I’m facing difficulties with school work too! Ms Sonia Tan's teaching method and patience have allowed me to easily understand and grasp math concepts such as calculus and trigo. TSV helped me very much since I joined in June 2021, when I failed my mid-terms badly. Ms Sonia always patiently explains complicated questions to me and gives appropriate encouragement when I got a question right and that really motivated me. I went for consultations at TSV and they immensely helped me improve my grades after I was given papers to do and revise topics that I was not that good at. I took my o levels in 2022.
